Dr. Mulandi, DMD
Dr. Allan Mulandi, DMD, is a highly skilled and experienced dentist with a passion for providing top-quality dental care to his patients. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and Bachelor Of Dental Surgery from University of Nairobi. He has over 20 years of experience in dentistry. With extensive additional training in Full Mouth Rehabilitation from New York University, Dawson Academy, American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Mulandi, DMD, is known for his gentle and caring approach to dentistry, making sure that each patient feels comfortable and well taken care of during their visit. He stays current with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques to ensure that his patients receive the best possible care.
With a focus on preventive care and patient education, Dr. Mulandi, DMD, empowers his patients to take control of their oral health and achieve beautiful, healthy smiles. Whether performing routine cleanings, fillings, or more complex procedures, Dr. Mulandi, DMD, is dedicated to helping his patients achieve optimal oral health and overall well-being.
In his free time, Dr. Mulandi, DMD, enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and staying active. He is committed to giving back to his community and regularly volunteers his time and expertise to help those in need. Dr. Mulandi, DMD, is proud to serve as a trusted dentist in the Mount Washington Valley community and looks forward to helping his patients achieve their best smiles.
Dr. Cheney, DMD
Dr. Cheney is a 1986 graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his DMD degree. That same year, he opened his dental practice, Amesbury Dental Associates, in his hometown of Amesbury, Massachusetts. Over the years, his practice grew beyond his expectations, driven by his dedication to helping people achieve their best dental health. Dr. Cheney was deeply involved in his community, serving on the Board of Health and as a long-time member of the Lions Club, where he held the position of president in 1998.
After 34 successful years, Dr. Cheney sold his practice and, in 2021, took a break from dentistry to move to Newry, Maine. However, his passion for dentistry and connecting with patients brought him back to the field, and he joined Eastern Slope Dental in September 2023.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Cheney leads an active and adventurous lifestyle. As a member of the National Ski Patrol, he works with the Sunday River Ski Patrol, combining his love for skiing with his dedication to helping others. In the warmer months, he enjoys golfing and exploring the waterways on his boat, embracing every opportunity to stay active and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Whether on the slopes, the greens, or the water, Dr. Cheney brings the same energy and enthusiasm to his personal life as he does to his career.
Dr. Barahman, DDS
Dr. Gil Barahman is a dedicated general dentist known for his patient-centered, thoughtful approach to care. A graduate of the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, he recently completed a general practice residency at a VA hospital, where he treated a diverse patient population — with a particular focus on medically complex cases and U.S. veterans. His training emphasized comprehensive dentistry, compassionate communication, and a calm, empathetic chairside manner — all of which he brings to the Mount Washington Valley.
Originally from Brooklyn, Dr. Barahman is proud to now call Conway home. He was drawn to Eastern Slope Dental for its collaborative team environment, commitment to clinical excellence, and strong ties to the local community. He’s passionate about helping patients feel informed, at ease, and empowered in their care, combining advanced techniques with a gentle, respectful touch.
Dr. Barahman is a lifelong learner who actively pursues continuing education to stay at the forefront of dental science and innovation. He believes ongoing learning is key to delivering the highest standard of care.
Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Barahman on the ice playing hockey, skiing in the mountains, or exploring the region’s scenic trails. He’s excited to be part of the Eastern Slope Dental team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with his patients and neighbors in the Mount Washington Valley.
