Welcome Dr. Mulandi
I am honored and privileged to introduce myself to the wonderful patients of Eastern Slope Dental. I have heard very good things about you and cannot wait to meet you!!
My name is Allan Mulandi. My wife Jenna, our 3 young children, Kyalo, Malaikah, Kioko and I are excited to be joining the Mount Washington Valley community. Jenna and I met in Kenya while she was working for a non-profit organization that builds hospitals in underserved parts of the world. We got married on a tea farm in the highlands of Central Kenya, and have been privileged to live and work in Kenya, the UAE and, of course, the US.
Kyalo, 7, loves skiing – he claims to be my ski instructor because he can ski a black diamond while papa hasn’t yet! Malaikah, 4, is competitive and loves speed – especially on her bike. Kioko, 2, is big on ripping library books! (We continue to work on his reading skills :)).
Jenna is a full-time mom but continues to work from home to support mission doctors and hospitals in Africa.
When I am not treating patients, I enjoy nature, mountain biking, safaris and getting charged by cape buffalos or elephant while on hikes.
Outside my family, my biggest passion is dentistry. I hold dual dental degrees from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, New Jersey, and the University of Nairobi. My approach to dentistry is simple: provide the most conservative dental care to restore and maintain my patients’ oral health and overall wellness with compassion and care.
I am excited to join the Eastern Slope Dental family and look forward to meeting you soon.

Letter from Dr. Yelle
Dear patients and friends,
Two short years ago, I fulfilled my two dreams of returning to the mountains and owning my own practice. The Mount Washington Valley accepted me and my family, into the community with open arms. We are blessed and privileged to serve such a wonderful community.
That is why it is with a heavy heart I share that, owing to personal circumstances, my family and I will soon be moving on.
It has been extremely gratifying to see Eastern Slope Dental grow even beyond my own expectations. We have an amazing team and wonderful patients that I looked forward to seeing every day.
I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this practice and community.
While my departure is bittersweet, I am pleased and excited to pass along the care of my patients to my good friend and colleague, Dr. Allan Mulandi.
Dr. Mulandi and I met some time ago while taking a continuing education course. Since then, he has become one of my closest friends. I am fortunate to be able to pass on Eastern Slope Dental to someone with such a powerful commitment to our profession, with such broad experience, and caring nature. Dr. Mulandi will continue the tradition of care we’ve worked so hard to establish and maintain here at Eastern Slope Dental.
